The video reportedly showed a naked Maggie Q was lying on her stomach on bed while Edison Chen engaged sexual acts on her. Photos of 6 women were found on this one computer. Are there more saved on other computers stashed away in his home? How depraved is this guy, really? And what would his fans think of him now? He may be able to shrug this off and become more “adult” and edgy with his image - that’s what I’d do anyway if I was his PR, but the women involved probably do not have this luxury. Edison had asked for people to stop spreading and to take down the images. People in HK may be compelled to do so, but at this stage it’s spread beyond HK’s borders and its laws. Unlike printed photos with negatives, once it’s out there it ain’t coming back. The Internet is a bitch like that.
In the latest video released yesterday, a contrite-looking Edison apologised to all the victims who've been "been affected by this strange, strange ordeal" and urged viewers in possession of those pictures to "please destroy them immediately". While I was on the boat travelling up the Yangzee River I was offered a very different type of drink. It was a drink that had been fermented with a poisonous snake inside. If you think it’s impossible to have sex while you sleep, think again, according to a new study.
There are at least 11 different sex-related sleep disorders, collectively referred to as “sexsomnia” or “sleepsex,” that affect people who are otherwise psychologically healthy—causing them to unknowingly engage in various sexual activities during the night.
Carlos Schenck, a psychiatrist at the Minnesota Regional Sleep Disorders Center, and his colleagues have studied a number of behavioral disorders associated with sleep.
“Any basic instinct can come out in the context of sleep,” Schenck says. “All sorts of things can happen.” Recently, he and his colleagues turned their focus to sex-related sleep disorders. They conducted computerized medical literature searches for studies published between 1950 and 2006 related to sleep and sexual behavior and looked through a number of sleep medicine textbooks. They also analyzed data from a previously completed internet survey that had gathered data from 219 people, 92 percent of whom had experienced multiple “sexsomnia” episodes.
Among other things, they found that people—mostly men—sometimes masturbate, initiate sex with a partner and reach orgasm during sleep. They usually have no memory of these activities when they wake up, learning about them only if a partner or roommate tells them.
Some of these activities can also have legal consequences, such as if someone initiates sex without a bed partner’s consent, noted Schenck.
People are at-risk for developing sex-related sleep disorders when they also tend to suffer from other sleep disorders—such as sleepwalking or sleep terrors, according to Schenck. “Sexsomnia doesn’t come out of nowhere,” he said. But “for whatever reason, sexual behaviors become part of the repertoire.”
While people might feel ashamed to learn from their partners that they are exhibiting these behaviors while they sleep, these disorders are not indicative of psychological problems, noted Schenck, whose recently published book, Sleep: The Mysteries, The Problems, and The Solutions, has a chapter devoted to sex-related problems. “Bizarre and inappropriate behavior during sleep does not necessarily reflect a daytime psychological problem.”
And “sexsomnia” disorders are easily treated with medication, he added.
If anything, people who become aware of their problem but don’t seek help put themselves at an even greater risk. “The longer you go with this problem without getting it treated, the more you can then develop a secondary psychological problem,” such as depression, said Schenck, whose study is published this week in the journal Sleep.

Bangkok has its share of crime but unlike other capitals, it has a special police force of English speaking officers set up to take care of foreigners in the event of trouble, always call the Tourist Police (Tel: 1155).
The main thing with Tourist Police is that they are trained to take the side of the foreigner, where as the normal Police with out question will side with the Thai and in many cases where a scam is involved might be in cohorts with the thief or scam artist. If you are ever in trouble for any reason ask for the Tourist Police. This is an absolute must. Like other law enforcers, the Tourist Police wear brown paramilitary uniforms and carry guns. What distinguishes them are their shoulder badges that read "Tourist Police" and their berets in place of helmets.

Designated after one the first Bars in the quarter, the cowboy bar. The original bar does not exist any more, but there are many bars, which offer the "usual" mixture: Girlie Bars, Strip Bars, music taverns. After the "crackdown" at Nana, Soi Cowboy is getting famous again and a lot of people go there for a drink or two. Nothing the despite: the Soi cowboy also always belongs with me to the outdoor-places, where I like to sit down and drink a beer or a Mekong Coke.
And if you like Thai-Food: go to the corner of Soi Cowboy, there you will find the "Ships Inn". A small bar with great food, a good Bar to go to is the "Midnite Bar". I like this bar very much, because the people there are VERY friendly and they all speak English very well.

A great alternative to the cluster of bars just across Sukhumvit Road, this great indoor beer garden on Sukhumvit Soi 3 (just a couple of minutes from the BTS Ploenchit skytrain station or Nana skytrain station) is quite different than many of the similar restaurant/bars in the area.
The bar has a great selection of beer and a full range of cocktails and bar drinks. I am not one to mingle in bars so easily, but here, the people are friendly and there are many beautiful ladies that frequent the bar and will show-you-up in a game of pool or just sit and have a beer with you in friendly conversation.
The magic of this place that seems to set it apart from the crowd is that it is just far enough away from all the other bars, making you feel like you have left to another place, away from all the craziness of Nana and the bars that litter the street, even though you're just a couple minute stroll away.

Choosing a place to eat among the Nana neighbourhood's many Middle Eastern and North African restaurants can be an intimidating task. They all seem to serve basically the same fair, sport the same thick menus, and serve a predominantly Middle Eastern crowd, but Nefertiti, just as its name for the Egyptian queen, famous for her beauty, indicates, is a diamond among gemstones.
And it shines like one, too. On the corner of Soi 3/1, the restaurant's silver facade, man-sized golden hookahs, and bubbling fountains make it hard to miss along the ever-crowded soi. Charcoal-fired hooka smoke blends with the smell of fresh naan and kebabs as families and friends gather to pass an evening. It is this atmosphere, as well as the fantastic food, that sets Nefertiti apart from the competition. The outdoor seating and multiple screens playing Arabic music videos is reminiscent of the outdoor cafes and restaurants around Al-Hussein, Cairo or Place de l'Etoile, Beirut.
Despite the large Middle Eastern and African community, when the restaurant opened six years ago, it was one of only three Arabic restaurants in the area, says general manager Walid Elsebaey. Nefertiti began catering to the local Arab community, as well as travellers from the Gulf States who come to Bangkok for shopping and hospital visits. But, the restaurant also provides Bangkokians a chance to expand their dining horizons at a reasonable price.
The menu features an extensive array of Middle Eastern cuisine created by chefs from across the Arab world, including Egypt, Yemen and the Persian Gulf. It includes classics like baba ganoush (Bt80), feta cheese (Bt80), mixed kebab platters (Bt200), and falafel sandwiches (Bt90), but alongside those are specialities like the Magloub lamb, rice with eggplant and stewed lamb (Bt300), and Egyptian-style rice with lamb stew (Bt250).
Dining at Nefertiti is a social event with everyone sharing all the dishes. The food is brought out piece by piece, with each dish accented by its predecessor, the table slowly fills with plate upon plate of food, and it is the whole combination of these many flavours that make the meal.
We started off with fresh naan, baked in a brick oven, sprinkled with sesame seeds (Bt20) and hummus (Bt80). Hummus, although a staple of Middle Eastern cuisine, is often disappointing, with either too much garlic, too little lime, or too chunky a texture. Nefertiti's hummus achieves a perfect balance of tart lime and rich chickpea flavour.
We tried several other Middle Eastern classics. The falafel (Bt100), made of chickpea flour and herbs, was served in flat disks opposed to round balls, making it easier to eat. The tabouleh (Bt70) was full of fresh herbs, parsley and scallions, and light on salt, which other places may use to hide a shortage of fresh herbs.
Served alongside every meal is a plate of greens, colourful pickles, peppers, and limes to add some zing to the kebabs and humus that are best eaten by hand using the warm bread as utensil.
Lamb, a rarity in Thailand, features extensively throughout the menu, and surprisingly, it is not imported. The hallal lamb is produced locally meaning it is always fresh, and the chefs ensure that flavour comes out using traditional recipes to create homey classics.
The mixed grill (Bt200) features ground lamb and steak kebabs, and succulent grilled chicken served with potent garlic sauce - signature of any true kebab platter or sandwich.
The Egyptian-style rice with lamb (Bt300) is a four-layer dish served in a casserole with a base of stew soaked bread, topped by buttery basmati rice, followed by pieces of lamb so succulent they fall off the bone, all of which is then drizzled to taste with the subtly tart tomato sauce.
For after-dinner sweets, Nefertiti has many custards and puddings to choose from. We tried the classic Um-Ali (Bt100), a milky pita bread pudding with toasted coconut and sugary white raisins.
But, dinner does not stop when you finish your food. Hookah is an after-dinner tradition, and a perfect way to cleanse the palate and relax after a heavy meal. Neferetiti's hookahs (Bt150) feature apple, strawberry, grape and mint flavours. The long, elegant pipes are served alongside sweetened mint tea, and restaurant patrons sit for hours smoking, chatting, listening to music, or simply watching the street scenes pass.
