to-night my first verbal confrontation with the mahout: he insisted I had to buy food off him when I wanted to makes photos with which I did not agreed. A female American tourist made also pictures without contributing money, the mahout gave the elephant an instruction: the elephant turned around and chased her at his command. I went to the police and got a telephone number to be used concerning street elephants. I knew that there must be some number. I will keep you informed.
