Researchers in USA have been asking for several years to men and women the reasons why they have sex, finding as results that both genders get intimate for mostly the same motivations. Any guess? If you go with the classic stereotype, you will tell me that men want sex for the physical pleasure (no commitments, no future promises) and for women, on the other hand, sex should be accompanied with an assurance of the eternal flame of love...Wrong wrong wrong. Apparently, for both young man and woman, having sex is more about lust in the body than a love connection in the heart.Certainly, expressing love and showing affection were in the top 10, but the participants (college students) did take a back seat to the clear No. 1: "I was attracted to the person," or “I do it because it feels good."Surprised? Probably not. After all, what else can we expect from our modern society? But not all stereotypes are dead. The results also noted that guys are more likely to be opportunistic, while girls feel a need to please their partner.
